Now the government is taking action with a ban on plastics.
The Indian province of Maharashtra, where Mumbai is the capital, has restricted plastic bag — Peanuts, Subsistence holders, packs, even cutlery. The objective is for all of India to do likewise by 2025. While different states and regions in India – and around the globe – have restricted single-utilize plastic packs, Maharashtra’s boycott is a standout amongst the most expansive.
The state government has issued point by point rules for what’s legitimate and so forth. Plastic prescription containers and rainproof coverings are OK; those flaming plastic wreaths that much of the time decorate Hindu sanctuaries are not, any more.
Plastic waste isn’t only a blemish on Mumbai’s shorelines. It’s a general medical problem.

In any case, plastic bags we use in our regular daily life take 10-1000 years to decompose, while plastic bottles can take 450 years or more and it’s not reproducible. but paper bags are easy to make and reproduction. Paper bags produce 70 more air toxins than plastic.
Plastic bags are unsafe to human wellbeing, It is not easy to Recycle, Contaminate Rivers and Oceans.
So please, avoid to use plastic bags or else used reusable plastic bags.
