An Amadeus PCC (Pseudo City Code) is a unique 3 - 4 character alphanumeric identifier assigned to every travel agency connected to the Amadeus GDS. Think of it as your agency's login identity inside the world's largest travel distribution network. Without a PCC, no agent, system or platform can access Amadeus live inventory flights, hotels, car rentals or rail.
Every booking made through Amadeus is tagged to a PCC. This means ticketing authority, fare access, commission agreements and queues are all controlled at the PCC level. A PCC is not just a username, it is the operational fingerprint of your agency inside Amadeus.
Controls which fares and airline contracts your agency can access
Determines ticketing rights and IATA accreditation linkage
Manages queue routing for bookings and schedule changes
Is the foundation for Multi PCC architecture when scaling enterprise operations
Large travel businesses that operate across multiple brands, markets, or regions use multiple PCCs, a setup known as Multi PCC on Amadeus. Each PCC can have its own fare agreements, queues and ticketing rules.
